Dr. Tiffany Johnson, MBA
Board Chair
Dr. Tiffany Johnson is a founding board member of The Finer Alliance, Inc. – which was established in 2019. She brings more than a decade of nonprofit board leadership and over twenty years of nonprofit work experience. Dr. Tiffany Johnson completed her BA in Sociology from the University of Chicago and her MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from National-Louis University. She continued to obtain a post graduate certificate in Human Services Counseling from National Louis University as well and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 16 years. Her desire to advance her studies, led her to the Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology program at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology where her dissertation research examined the experiences of successful former foster youth.
For the past ten years, Dr. Johnson has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Lakeside Community Committee, a non-profit human services organization that is on a mission to enhance the quality of life for children and families by inspiring hope, empowerment, and growth within all who are served. A Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Dr. Johnson is also the Founder of HOPE and Healing Wellness Services, LLC where she provides therapeutic services to children and families.
Dr. Johnson is a proud Centennial Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. where she has been a member for more than twenty-five years. She is also the current president of the Chicago Association of Black Social Workers and is a member of the Black Administrators in Child Welfare of Illinois. Dr. Johnson is a valued member of The Finer Alliance, Inc. and serves as its Board Chair.
